Meet Rabbi Emeritus - Rabbi Dr. Meir Sendor
Rabbi Dr. Meir Sendor is the rabbi emeritus of the Young Israel of Sharon, MA.
He is a recognized scholar in the field of Jewish History, specifically the history of Jewish mysticism, philosophy and medicine. He holds a rabbinic ordination from Yeshiva University, a Ph.D. with Distinction from Harvard University and a Master’s from Yale University. Rabbi Sendor lectures widely on his specialties and holds many classes on various Torah topics for all levels.

Community Support Liaison, JF&CS
Hi, my name is Talia and I am a social worker from JF&CS, as well as a member here at Young Israel of Sharon. In my JF&CS role as Community Support Liaison, I work with synagogues to help connect their members with resources for themselves and their families. JF&CS offers resources that serve the community across the lifespan from infancy to end of life. Types of resources and support include but are not limited to financial assistance, mental health, case management, disability services, food insecurity, domestic abuse, aging support, and referrals to services. In addition to working with individuals and families, I work to facilitate meaningful and engaging programming for the communities I serve. Please reach out anytime. I would love to connect with you.
