Purim Registration - 2021

Purim Specific Logistics

  • Each individual, even spouses, must register independently
  • Only teens above bar and bar mitzvah will be able to attend in-person megillah readings this year.  Teens must register separately, even if they are sitting next to parents.
  • The Emoji Megillah reading for children on Purim night over zoom is intended just for children and does not require any sign up.
  • Listening to Megillah over zoom is a last resort option from a halachic perspective and should only be done for those individuals who cannot make it shul (indoor/outdoor) safely.
  • Proper masks and social distancing will be required. No blow up costumes allowed.
  • All minyanim/megillah readings will be capped at 30 people. If a minyan reaches its capacity, it will no longer be an option on the sign up form.
  • All minyanim and megillah readings require sign up with attestation via this form.  You will receive a confirmation email about your sign up.
  • You can give Matanot La'Evyonim at https://www.yisharon.org/form/MatanotLaEvyonim

  • All attendees MUST wear a mask that covers the mouth and the nose for the entire duration of davening. If a mask break is needed, please leave the davening area. Rabbi Cheses has a supply of extra masks if you forget one or your mask breaks
  • All attendees MUST stay in their designated seats. Indoors, these are the seats marked off with blue tape.
  • Please bring your own siddur/megillah. If you forget, please ask Rabbi Cheses or a Gabbai.
  • Please use the bathroom at home before coming to Minyan. In case of emergency, the bathrooms in the building will be open. Only one person can enter at a time. Please do your best from touching surfaces while using the bathroom.
