Yom HaShoah Program

This Sunday evening, 27 April/28 Nissan, starting at 8:00 PM, Young Israel of Sharon will have two speakers for our commemoration of Yom HaShoah. All Young Israel members are encouraged to attend. This program is also recommended for mature teens.

The first speaker will be Sam Natansohn, a survivor from Poland who will discuss his experiences during the Shoah. Our second speaker will be Morris Ratner, a professor at the University of California at Hastings School of Law. Professor Ratner "prosecuted and settled Holocaust-era slave labor, looted asset, dormant bank account and unpaid insurance claims against European companies, producing global settlements in those cases worth more than $7.5 billion."
