o Not a lecture but a workshop with a workbook (www.hesber.org/) to make a concrete acquisition of the material. The focus will be upon the positive mitzvot as well as the most relevant melachot, with a special emphasis on practical matters such as understanding the start and end time of shabbat, warming up food and muktzeh. This class will be highly interactive and will combine conceptual analysis and pragmatic implementation. The small group learning (limited to 10-12 people) will be accessible to beginners and engaging for advanced learners as well. o Workbooks are available for purchase through the shul office for $20 (suggested donation). o Please email Rabbi Cheses at Rabbi@YISharon.org to reserve your spot.

Community Support Liaison, JF&CS
Hi, my name is Talia and I am a social worker from JF&CS, as well as a member here at Young Israel of Sharon. In my JF&CS role as Community Support Liaison, I work with synagogues to help connect their members with resources for themselves and their families. JF&CS offers resources that serve the community across the lifespan from infancy to end of life. Types of resources and support include but are not limited to financial assistance, mental health, case management, disability services, food insecurity, domestic abuse, aging support, and referrals to services. In addition to working with individuals and families, I work to facilitate meaningful and engaging programming for the communities I serve. Please reach out anytime. I would love to connect with you.
