Abraham’s Tent
During the weekend of August 8 – 9, Sharon, MA will be hosting Lee Weissman from Irvine California. Lee is a Breslov hasid who is the founder of the Facebook Group “Abraham’s Tent” which has over 1700 members and has a twitter feed with 25,000 followers, principally Muslims and Jews. Lee's focus is on seeking the commonalities in our spiritual struggles. Whether it be personal issues, community issues, religious issues or global issues - we are all facing similar challenges. Our response should be to unite, seek each other out and learn from each other.
Lee will be speaking on Shabbos August 8th at 5:30pm at Temple Israel – traditional Sabbath (light) meal with a focus on the intertwining nature of intrafaith and interfaith initiatives (Catered by Tova) .
