10:45 AM - 12:00 PMnear the ranger office building off the parking lot. The tour will be on the first floor of the mansion beginning at 11:00 AM.This event is FULL right now. Rain Date: RAIN DATE: Monday, November 7th Topic: Of Governors and Generals - The focus of this talk is on the ancestors of Oakes and Blanche Ames and their political and military involvement. The key people are Governor Oliver Ames, General Benjamin Franklin Butler and General Adelbert Ames. This tour length is 35-40 minutes. Fee: There is a parking fee unless you have a discounted lifetime senior pass for MA residents aged 62 or older. You can purchase the pass by googling Mass.gov or DCR Senior Parking Pass.
