Older siblings are not allowed in the room on that day (if they are older than 5). Parents are expected to help with their children. There should be two parents in the babysitting room at all times.
5. UPCOMING MAAYAN CLASS:
At Pesach each year, we recall and reconsider the ways that we ourselves are leaving Egypt, for we know that in every generation, we must view ourselves as those redeemed . . . But what about the revelation at Sinai? How does the experience of Matan Torah (the giving of the Torah) inform our daily lives, our relationship with God, and our Judaism?
Beginning this Sunday (5/11), join Rabbi David Maayan in a two-week Ma'ayan: Torah Studies Initiative for Women mini-class designed to prepare you for Shavuot (open to men and women). In "Revelation (and Concealment) on Mount Sinai," Rabbi Maayan will explore the Torah's paradoxical account of the experience of Sinai through classical commentaries and Hasidic masters.
2 Sundays, 8:00 - 9:15 PM, May 11 & 18
Location: Young Israel of Sharon
Tuition: $35
Open to men and women
